Memorial Weekend

Our Memorial Weekend usually consist of a lot of this:

Sitting around with family, eating and fishing at Mom & Dad's.

We like to teach them young!

No, that's not a parking lot, it's my parents yard. The kids love all being together.

My Mom (2nd from the left), her brother and two of her sisters. Look a little alike, hu!

Little Tyler-Man.

Andrea, my niece, and her family.

Sister, Renee and Andrea

Emma. She is 5 months older than Samuel and is missing most of her front teeth.

Breanna - she's going to be trouble! LOL

Since we weren't together for 80th Dad's birthday, we celebrated with a little cake.

Renee is due with her first baby in late October.

Samuel Graduates

Samuel is now a Kindergarten graduate. Samuel's class was in the first of two programs with five of the classes in one and five in another. It was really good and they did a great job! You could tell they had practiced very hard.
Here is Samuel saying his part: "I wonder if puppy will wonder where I am."

Opening his graduation gifts, fold 'n fly airplanes and Star Wars Trouble.

VV Field Day

Samuel had field day at school today. They did activities based on Arkansas History so they did things like Native American Body Art,
Digging for diamonds,

riding a horse drawn wagon and the Nature Center brought out animals. They had a hot dog lunch under the trees.

It's Baseball Time

Samuel is playing machine pitch this year. A lot different than t-ball! The ball is pitched at 35 miles an hour and it's been fun to watch the boys learn how to hit the ball flying at them.
Samuel is on the Red Wolves team and we've really enjoyed the team, parents and coaches. Samuel is the little speck there in the middle.
Samuel up to bat.
This is the first game that I brought my camera to and I'm glad I did because I got this... Samuel running across the base for his first home run!!! He was so excited and got the game ball for the night.
I've learned that boys don't care if they have muddy cleats. In fact, they kind of like it. And Daddy told my to stop being a girl when I asked how we could clean them.
Samuel made lots of friends on his team. Here they are eating sunflower seeds.
