Then we went to J. Christopher Toys grand opening. The toy store recently moved to its new location and had a great day of activities and giveaways for the kids. Mrs. Mary even put in a playground and the kids were able to play for free that day.
While we were there, the Polar Roller gave away fudgecicles and Mrs. Mary gave everyone popcicle holders.
This is their Concotion Station. The kids can make all sorts of fun stuff here including soap that looks like ice cream.
Samuel made a bottle of bubble bath full of bugs and snakes.
And here's a little tour of the store. We are regulars! It's really close to the house, so we often stop and play even if we're not "planning" to buy anything that day. And it's a great place to pickup a quick gift! No trip to Walmart or the mall! Mrs. Mary also does Rockin' Wish List for the kids. They come in and make a list of things they want and then others can see their wish list for birthday parties or Christmas. It's a great thing for a classmates party when you have no idea what in the world to get them! This is the kid's door out - NO ADULTS! Their own little door!
