Okay moms, you know those moments when you decide you can be super mom and do it all? Usually it ends up with me wanting to pull my hair out and wondering why I thought I could make it all work. Well tonight was one of those moments - except that it worked!
More than a month ago I bought tickets to take Samuel to the Ringling Bros. Circus with the plan that Tyler would stay with Kevin. But after his game was rained out on Thursday and moved to tonight, it looked like Kevin would miss his game. So I decided I could probably take both boys.
I put Samuel's backpack harness on him and carried Tyler in his sling.
Samuel loved the circus and never moved out of his seat even during a long intermission. He didn't even have to go potty. And Tyler only fussed twice until I moved him around and other than that he enjoyed the circus just as much as Samuel did. We also had a great parking spot and was able to get in and out quickly. It was a great night!
We spent yesterday morning at the splash park and Rotary playground with friends. It was the first time this summer we've made it to the splash park. Samuel had fun getting wet and then running back to the playground to play. Tyler spent most of the day in his stroller watching it all, but I think even he enjoyed it.
