My Loot

I must be crazy - you would have to be to do what I did Monday. I was one of the hundreds of people that flocked to the Design Shoppe on Monday to grab up ASU stuff at 73% off. Prior the game, the store announced they would give as a discount the spread of the game. So since ASU won 83-10 on Saturday, every item in the store was 73% off. When I went, I knew they would be busy, but I in no way expected to spend the day there. I didn't even take Tyler's diaper bag. I pulled into the parking lot at 10:40, spent about 15 minutes picking out items and took my place in line. The people coming out of line said they had been in line 1 to 1 1/2 hours and I figured I had time to do that. Well, at 1 1/2 I was only half way to the checkout. But at that point, there was no way I was just walking out! Luckily Tyler had eaten breakfast just before we walked out the door, so he was good to go for a while. He eventually took a nap for over an hour and thankfully I had his stroller. As the day progressed, I visited with people I knew and shopped some more along the way. Finally, at 2:40 I reached the checkout with all of my purchases, plus things for 2 friends. At 3 p.m. I was in the car headed home. Did I get what I wanted? Yes. The main thing I wanted were jerseys for the boys and I got those, including one for Samuel in a little bit bigger size for the next year or two. I also got a couple M&M Nascar things. We are not Nascar fans, but we collect M&M's, so those will be good additions to our collection. Was it worth it? No. LOL If I had known I would spend the whole day checking out, I wouldn't have done it. But I did get a lot of good things that I never would have bought otherwise. Here's everything I got for us, excluding the boys ASU football which they were playing with when I took the picture. This does not include the things I got for friends.
