On Sunday, the boys opened their Easter baskets from mommy and daddy (they also got baskets on Friday night from Grandma and Grandpa). Samuel opened his first while Tyler napped and then he helped Tyler open his when he woke up. I realize there's a size difference in the baskets, but Samuel's toys just tend to be bigger now.

This is a marble drop I found at Toy Castle. Samuel has wanted one for a long time and I found this one for only $20. He can build it all different ways which I think is a great learning tool for him. He also got a new game "What's Gnu?" It teaches 3 letter words that you build from the different letter tiles. You can find it at both J. Christophers and Toy Castle and will be a great way to continue teaching him site words.

And a Bakugan. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly these are even about, but he comes home from school talking all about it.

Most of the items in Tyler's basket I bought last year after Easter for 1/2 price. Great Deals! I've already bought things for his basket next year too.

As Tyler gets bigger I'll do more in his basket like I did Samuel's this year. With the boys birthdays being in the fall, quickly followed by Christmas, I tend to do a little more than I would otherwise I think. This is the last holiday for them to get toys for 6 and 7 months - well, except for visit from Grandma, right?
