1. I'm tired of storms!!! I'm looking forward to July when we go weeks without rain. At this point - who cares! At one point last night we did go into the closet, Samuel, Tyler, myself along with my parents. Kevin stayed out to "watch."
2. Kevin missed his calling as a weatherman! Kevin knew long before anyone else that the storm was headed straight for us. He has this great weather program on his computer and can pinpoint it down to our street where it's going. Then as we headed toward the closet he said it was going south of us, he was exactly correct. During another storm he said he couldn't believe a tornado warning hadn't been issued for a certain county, 10 minutes later they did. It's great having your own weatherman in the house!
3. I layed on the couch after lunch today while my mom cleaned the kitchen. I did have a bad headache though! But I still felt guilty if that makes it okay. LOL
4. Samuel has been a terror the last 3 days! I have no idea what's wrong with him, but he's been a mess! It included a complete meltdown after church this morning when we were trying to take a picture. He seems a bit calmer this afternoon so hopefully his little mood is over.
5. I ordered my own mother's day gift. I wanted Wii Fit but it doesn't come out until next week. So I called Kevin and asked him if I could pre-order it. He said "Are you sure that's what you want?" It was, so next Wednesday I'll be having fun on my Wii Fit board!
6. I've had my moms sewing machine and fabric for around 6 months to do some sewing and I can't find time to do it. I'm determined to do it and get her machine back to her by the 4th of July.
7. I totaled my mom Suburban in our driveway when I was 14. We have a long driveway that goes down the hill and around the pond. As I came around the pond, the truck sped up and hit a tree. I cracked my cheekbone, my mom broke 4 ribs and my friend in the backseat hurt her legs. And yes, all in the driveway. The insurance ruled it a vehicle malfunction. When I go home people will still say "Oh, you're the girl that wrecked the truck in the driveway." And yes, the tree is still there with its battle scars.
8. I used to sell Tupperware. For about a year I was a Tupperware lady. Kevin said I either had to stop buying it or start selling it, so I went with the later. And for those wondering, no I'm not going to start selling it again although I'm having a party this weekend. I had so many friends asking if I knew anyone that sold it, I just decided it was time for a party. Everyone's welcome! Saturday at 2 at my house!
