Ten Things I'm thankful for today.1. Getting to talk to an old friend today. Although it wasn't for very long, it's great to get to chat now and then. I miss her!!!
2. My parents are coming this weekend for Tyler's Dedication. I'm excited to see them!
3. That Samuel's tooth brake wasn't more serious! We could have been dealing with a child in pain all night and instead he hardly even noticed!
4. God's provision. I know many were affected by the tornado's on Friday, but God saw fit to spare my brother and SIL as this tornado past about a mile from their home. I'm thankful they were safe!
5. Bananas. It's the easiest baby food ever and Tyler loves them. Throw one along with a spoon in the diaper bag and you've got a meal anywhere!
6. Interns. While we were gone this weekend, the college student who shoots for us shot 6 events while I was gone and I was so glad not to have to worry about them getting done while I was gone.
7. Electricity. Yesterday as Samuel and I drove we were talking about electricity and how Great-Grandmother probably didn't have it when she was younger. It then occurred to me that my dad probably didn't either. Samuel was sure he did, but when we talked to him later, he said he was 17 when they got electricity. I can't imagine what that would be like!
8. DVR. Kevin and I have been so busy the last few days, we would have missed all of our favorite shows if it wasn't for the DVR. Now we just have to find the time to watch them!
9. We had the joy of seeing our friend Meghan be Baptized on Sunday night. What a blessing she has been to us the past couple years!
10. Kevin's Grandmother turns 100 on Thursday. Saturday was her big birthday party. It was really neat to participate in something like that and to get pictures of 7 month old Tyler with is 100 year old Grandmother. That's something the boys will be able to cherish, that their great-grandmother turned 100. We also celebrated Kevin's Grandmother Creekmore's 90th birthday in December and we also got to see her yesterday.

Oh my goodness! I have never met your husband but your little Samuel looks just like him and Tyler looks just like you. That is so sweet!
What a blessing to talk to your kids about their great-grandparents. I really need to do that more often! Great list!
